HeartCode Complete is the American Heart Association’s fully self-directed blended learning option for Basic Life Support (BLS). Unlike the standard HeartCode BLS course, which requires a live instructor for the skills check, HeartCode Complete uses the RQI CPR cart with high-fidelity manikins to deliver real-time feedback on performance.
This advanced manikin measures:
Compression depth
Full chest recoil
Bag-mask ventilations (BVM)
One-rescuer CPR
Two-rescuer CPR
- Pause times (interruption times)
- Compression Fraction
The format allows providers to complete the online course at their own pace and then perform skills testing in as little as 15–30 minutes without an instructor.
Upon completion, participants receive the same 2-year AHA provider card as a traditional or Heartcode class, fully recognized by hospitals, EMS agencies, and healthcare facilities.
To successfully pass this course, you must:
1. Complete the “Online Portion”. This consists of self-paced videos
2. Complete “Online Portion” prior taking “In-person Portion”
3. Complete “Skills session with our fully automated manikin”
You’ll receive your online course link via email shortly after registration. While it typically arrives within 3 hours, our system may take a bit longer to process registrations received late at night. We appreciate your patience!
Timing:
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your course start time.
- To avoid traffic congestion, especially during rush hour, consider using public transportation.
- Late arrivals will forfeit the course, and no refunds or rescheduling will be offered.as per our Terms & Conditions.
