This course covers Adult, Child, Infant, & Standard First Aid teaching skills. This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses.
In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. It is advised to use a cellphone number when registering as communications can be sent via text.
This is a blended learning course consisting of online content and in-person classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. To receive certification as a First Aid/CPR/AED instructor, you must:
• Possess a current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certificate or equivalent. Certificate verification required.
• Successfully complete the provided self-paced online session. (3hrs)
• Attend and actively participate in the in-person session. (8hrs)
• Successfully complete skill practice and polish and demonstrate competency.
• Successfully complete two practice teaching assignments with proficiency.
• Demonstrate instructor-level skill competency in ALL skills.
Your online portion course link will be sent to the email you provide at signup. It may take up to 2hrs after registration to be sent to your inbox.
Timing:
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your course start time.
- To avoid traffic congestion, especially during rush hour, consider using public transportation.
- Late arrivals will forfeit the course, and no refunds or rescheduling will be offered.as per our Terms & Conditions.

No refunds. All course sales are final. Refunds are not given for any participant who does not attend their scheduled course. Refunds are not given to participants who do not pass their in-person course.
Participants who do not pass their in-person course must re-enroll for another course; no refunds will be given. Refunds are not granted to participants who arrive late.

This CPR course requires a solid understanding of the skills taught in the Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course. Participants will be tested on these prerequisite skills during practical scenarios.
If you do not feel confident in your mastery of these skills, or if you had a poor learning experience in the prerequisite class, we strongly recommend retaking the Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course, regardless of the validity of your current certification.
